I have a problem with scaling miniature images. Since my original images aren't proportional, the miniature scale option "stretches" the image using shortest length that looks awful on miniatures. The size of miniatures is 125x125px, I need my original images get cropped for miniatures only. I want them to allocate "crop" square in the center of original image.
Here is how it is now
Here ho I want it to be
the original sizes are these
- you can crop thumbnails (see Options) - in such case all images will have the same size
- or if you cannot have cropped thumbnails (e.g. because people are displaying on the images) you can disable this option - in such case e.g. portrait or landscape will be displayed each to other (without deforming - if something deforms you the images, you should test template or system plugin settings), see e.g. here: http://www.fotografostrava.cz/galerie/c ... e-portrety
you can see landscape and portrait images next to each other (without deforming)
Hi, Phoca Gallery does not do any deformed images - it just crop them (if set in Options) or not (you can see it on the link above). If something on your site deforms the images (if system plugin or template css) I really don't know, but this needs to be found and tested (e.g. to switch to some standard template for test, etc.)
