Hi, this is more a joomla.org forum question - as extension manager is a Joomla! component. But mostly there will be a problem on your server, try to test:

- if on your server there are no limitations for upload files
- permissions and ownership of files and folders are OK
- check the memory limits
- try to install the component other way: https://www.phoca.cz/phocagallery/478-ho ... -in-joomla

Hi Jan ... I asked my ISP about this and received the following reply

All these settings seem fine, is there a recommended value for the memory limit?

Any help?

I have also tried the FTP installation and the 'install from directory' and no luck

Thanks

Hi, I think, this should be a question on webhosting provider or Joomla! Phoca Gallery does not install itself. Joomla! installation manager installs the Phoca Gallery ZIP package. I really cannot say how much memory the server needs, I just run standard values and it works on my all test servers normally  But as I said, this has nothing to do with Phoca Gallery, while installing Phoca Gallery, no Phoca Gallery page is loaded, it is loaded extension manager part of Joomla! to install components, to it is really hard to give some clue advice what can be wrong there
