wrong path when filtered categories

I have two galleries, each is triggert by a single menu item.
Each gallery has a subcategory for filtering - works fine so far.
But if I click menu item 2 to show gallery 2 (with the subcat. 2) suddenly the menu item 1 is highlighted (activated?) and also the
breadcrumb shows a wrong path.
I have reproduced this issue with a virgin joomla installation with default template. So that must come from phoca.

I found out that the problem occurs not only with filtered categories.
It comes generaly with more than one galleries triggered with more than one menu item.
Any configuration fault by myself?

Hi, try to disable SEF and see the Itemid (ID of the menu link) ... Check if the ID is changing - the items in joomla have no information about in which menu link they should be displayed, so it is possible that going through the tree went to other menu link

Hi, see similar posts here in this forum or in Joomla! forum or Joomla! documentation - SEF you can disable in Global Configuration of Joomla!

I have exactly the same problem.

I'm running Joomla 1.7.3 and Phoca Gallery 3.2.6

If i turn off the SEF I can see that the item id in the second gallery is the item id from the first gallery menu item.

Is there a solution ?

I have allready solved the problem by chanigng and adding some things in the route.php.

Now it works for me, but I hope, that there is an update for the gallery which solves the problem.

I have exactly the same problem. Hope to get an update soon. In the meanwhile, could you please share the changes you made in the code?
