Phoca Gallery have tag cloud? Or something similar?
Tags are useless without tag clouds!

to bring in home page a list of words, church or castle and clicking on that word to go to a page with all the photos (categories) that are churches or castles.

Aha, now I understand, so this is not about the component, it is about the tag cloud module. For now I don't know any such module for Phoca Gallery. I will try to search some. Anyway added to feature request list - to build a module to display tag cloud of Phoca Gallery tags

I think I found a solution.
I use "Tag Cloud Module - Show Tags in a Module", MYTAGS options, where can I put links.
set tag in Phoca, then copy link ...../com_phocagallery&view=category&id=tag&tagid=1 in module.
and so for each tags.
this module is not too great, so if you can make your own solution would be great
