404 on Category View

Hello,

I have SEF set on in joomla config and language switcher buttons for my site.
I have put "list of categories" in my menu. When I click it, it shows the categories alright.
But when I click into one of the categories (which works) and then try to switch the language, a 404 page is shown.

The correct link of the category is: http://mysite/index.php/en/menu_item_name/category/2-cat-name

But I can see the link my language button wants to go is: http://mysite/index.php/en/menu_item_name?view=category

I did try to add a "category" item in a hidden menu, it works for that given category but not the others. I think there should be a better method than adding every category into a hidden menu?

Similar problem happens when I click the "comment image" link for each image.
It seems that the correct SEF url can't be passed to the language switching buttons.

Hi, does it all work without SEF? The problem is, Phoca does not manage the SEF, it is managed by Joomla! itself, so there is no settings for this in Phoca Gallery , if there is some conflict or problem this needs to be found there ... For running SEF link, you need to have one menu link to Phoca Gallery, it is not necessarry to have more, the one is just enough so SEF can be built for Phoca Gallery by this link, then it does not matter if you look at the category, or categories, or detail view, it just gets the link form the one menu link.
