Remove thumb shadows

Post by Meez »

Hi community

Is it possible to completely remove the shadows behind the thumbnails in phoca gallery??
I found the images "shadow1.gif/.png - shadow5.gif/.png" and changed them so that there is no shadow effect to see anymore in the preview (found it at "Themes" in the phoca control center).
But the thumbs in the gallery still are shown with shadows!?! Is there any way to remove them?
I would be very happy about your support.

Best regards,
Meez

Hi, thumbnails alone do not have any shadows (in case there were not added directly to the photo on PC e.g.), to disable the background shadows: just disable them in Phoca Gallery Options.

Hi Jan

I disabled shadows in the options already....
At this screenshot you can see what I mean:

There is some sort of "border" around the thumbs I added. But I didn't set this in the options. At least I cant find any more options where I could disable that. I thought it looked like the "shadow" images I found in the phoca themes - so I changed them with my imaging program. But without any effect.
I'm frustrated already because I can't find the mistake I obviously made somewhere.

Every option that says anything about borders or shadows I disabled. In precaution I set all border colors to "white" / "#ffffff" so you could at least not see them if they where nevertheless shown

I don't know what to do to get rid of them anymore :(
Can you help me with that???

Hi, you can set "transparent" values for the border too.

Which version of Phoca Gallery you are using?
