Phoca Gallery not working with Yoo_Cloud

Post by mikej »

Hello,

I have installed the newest version of Phoca Gallery. I am using Yoo_Cloud as my template (Yootheme) and running Joomla 2.5.8 with PHP 5.2+ . Here is the domain scuba.nitascleaning.com/index.php/facility (direct domain) you can see that it just goes to a blank page in the middle of the page where it the gallery should be. It appears to be a conflict with Phoca Gallery and Yoo_Cloud as the other templates that come with Joomla appear to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Hi, unfortunatelly I don't know this template. If it works with standard templates, I think, I cannot give any clue advices. The component is made for standard Joomla! so if some template has some specific features which can be in conflict with component's output, I think, it needs to be found in the template. For now I really cannot say what exactly can be in conflict between template and the component

Hello,

Thanks for the reply. Could it possibly be a jquery issue? If so, any idea how to stop multiple instances of jquery loading? It appears the template is trying to load one instance and then Phoca is trying to load another, which may be in conflict?

Hi, see your javascript console, if there will be a jquery conflict you will see it in console. To test it, just try to remove a link to one of the jquery instances and test if this will be Ok.
