Hello,
I am working on a website that will allow anonymous users to upload pictures from parties and other events to the website. The pictures would be uploaded to a "staging" gallery and would not be made public on the site (published) until an admin has viewed and approved them. How can I make this happen with Phoca gallery?
I understand that there are security risks involved with allowing anonymous uploads, but I only want those anonymous uploads to be possible for a single unpublished gallery, not to all galleries site-wide.
Thanks!

Jan, would it be possible to hire you to implement this feature just for me (i.e., not for public release)?

Re: Allow anonymous users to upload to gallery
I found a workaround, using this module to auto-log-in all users who visit the Phoca category page for the "anonymous" photo gallery: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... ased/10508
Once they are logged in, they can then upload photos to that gallery. I then set Phoca to not authorize the newly uploaded images, so they will not display on that gallery page. Now all my admins need to do is to log into the back-end and approve the good images and move them to their correct categories for the lie galleries! Hopefully this method will help others in need of an "anonymous" upload solution.
Speaking of moving the images... is there a way for me to check the tick-box next to multiple images and move the selected images to a new category?

Re: Allow anonymous users to upload to gallery
Hi, this is a standard Joomla! 2.5 feature, you can batch (copy, move) the images in administration to other category.

Ah, I see it now, at the bottom of the page. I suppose I wasn't expecting that down there. Thanks!
