error messages after installing Phoca gallery

Hi Benno,
I can create category now. I want to create menu link to show the category.

I follow the usual way to create menu link :
menu manager -> add menu item -> menu type -> phoca gallery (List of categories)

But I can't see anything inthe webpage even I click the menu link. Is there anything I miss?

Hi Benno,

When I go to the image page and select the filename for the image, it appears a message box showing "Internet explorer stop working".

I can't load the image to the gallery. When I use the "Multiple add" feature, the same thing happens and Internet explorer did not work.

try to enable error reporting again.
Try to enable" Debug System" to receive some error messages...

I tested it in firefox, it works. then that is IE problem.

I would like the user of the gallery can upload their images into the gallery. But when the user creat category ad subcatergoy. The images cannot be displayed as the subcategory and images is not authorized. I tried to change the configuration in "Option". Set the "Enable User Category Authorization" to "Yes" and "Enable User Subcategory Authorization" to "Yes". But the user still cannot authorize their sub-category and images in the webpage (not admin page). How can I solve this problem. please help.

Hi, just disable the authorization for the users to display the images without authorization.

Thanks, may be I misunderstand the meaning of the options setting. Because the option page show "Enable User Category Authorization" rather than "Enable User Category without Authorization".
