Error in components

I have read and investigated all the above posts. The post by Martin1990 regarding other components causing the problem is great for him. This does not mean it is the answer to everyone's issue. I had no other components installed yet I have exactly the same issue. I have checked the loader.php file in the install package and it is exactly the same as the file on my server - no changes have been made to it.

I spent all day trying to install it (originally had the Menu alias issue that seems quite common). It has now successfully installed, but whenever I attempt to use any part of the component in the back-end, I am met with this error -

Fatal error: Cannot make static method JLoader::import() non static in class PhocaGalleryLoader in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_phocagallery/libraries/loader.php on line 75
