Phoca 2.7 got hacked

Post by mimi67 »

HI All. I noticed some strange behaviour of phoca component in my site.

When I create a new category with pictures and publish it to the page I have a "smap" link in the first picture position (no picutue, only a link to spam external site), the rest of the pictures are displayed fine.

I'm using Phoca 2.7. And funny enough it happens only when browsing with IE8 (I don't have other IE versions installed though). WIth FIrefox it's all normal. WIth Chrome I simply lost my formatting for newely created category.

So I suspect that it was hacked somehow.

I checked the DB and to me (I'm a newby) it looked fine, I didn't spot that link anywhere. So it must be somewhere in config.

Where is this bad link come from?

Thanks a lot beforehand.

Mikhail.

Hi, try to check your PC and your browser, maybe this is added there.

For now I have no experiences with this. My idea is, the link will be changed after, this can happen if e.g. browser or PC was hacked or if you are using some system plugin which can allow to change the output. This can be very dangerous. So try to check your system plugins too.
