Hello, before shooting my question here I'd like to thank the author(s) of Phoca Gallery.
I do have a small question though.
The structure I'm trying to create goes as following:
[2007]
[Kaapstad] (these 2 subfolders should be created INTO dir 2007)
[Hungary]
[2008]
[New York]
[Bali]
But, Phoca Gallery creates the subfolders like this:
[2007] Kaapstad
[2007] Hungary
[2008] New York
[2008] Bali
Did I miss some setup maybe?
Thanks for reading this.
Nando
Ps: I tried the Search button, but my searchstrings were being ignored due common words..

Maybe this makes more sence.
I have chosen Parent Category ofcourse.

Re: Category Structure
Hi,
Backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Parameters --> Categories View Settings (List of Categories) --> Display Subcategories=No
Backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Parameters --> Categories View Settings (List of Categories) --> Display Empty Categories=Yes
Save your settings!
Assure yourself that your settings are not overwritten in your menulink to Phoca Gallery component --> Parameters (Component)
That`s it.
Kind regards,
Benno

Benno
You helped me out! We are so grateful for your help.
Now I just have to get a thumbnail visible for the subcategories, but I'll find it in the forums.
Solved :')
