Not Adding Gallery to Menu

I have followed the directions, created a category, added photos and then assigned it to a menu. The problem I'm having is that when I assign it to a menu, it doesn't show up on the menu. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Hello,

Did you create a menu item:

Top Menu (or Main Menu) --> New Item --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Category Layout

Ensure that the menu item is published?

Hmm, not sure what is going on. I ultimately got it to show up. I think there may be something with my Joomla installation. It's been behaving weirdly. Yes, I did indeed create the menu item. I got a 404-like error when attempting to view the link. Then I deleted the menu item but it won't disappear from my front end. It's still showing up on the front-end but is gone on the back-end. It did this with another photo type extension.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Are you using an SEF/SEO components along with your Joomla install?

Yes, I am. I just read the instructions at this link but they make absolutely no sense to me.

Which SEF/SEO solution are you using? Can you turn it off and check if the link is working normally? If it is then we can proceed from there.
