Hi Jan,
Before to write this topic, i have searched and read the others and tried what there was written, but without solve it.
I'm using the phoca gallery last version (2.6.2) after update by an older one.
Categories are created and images uploaded with the newer version.
These are the current settings in the PHOCA GALLERY
User Control Panel Settings:
Enable User Control Panel --> YES
Enable Avatar Uploading --> NO
Enable Avatar Authorization --> NO
Enable User Category Authorization --> NO
Enable User Subcategory Authorization --> NO
Upload Settings:
Enable User Upload Image Authorization --> NO
.
Folder Permissions: 777 (i've tried first 775 value via FTP)
I used IE8 and Firefox 3.6 but nothing to do.
I can create categories and upload images ,the published and delete icon are present and they function.
The authorization icon for all images is shown but is like disabled.
Have you a idea? Do you think that a new reinstallation could be solve the problem?

Re: Frontend Upload Authorization does't work
Yes, this is the feature, you can authorize images only in administration. If you can authorize images in frontend, the authorization doesn't make any sence. In frontend you can only publish or unpublish images.
