Category Picture - without showing the picture in category

Hi I have a question about a Category Pic...

It's a little bit hard to describe so I'll show you an example of my page:

This is my category overview. Here you can see all the main categories of my phoca album. If you click on a category, you'll be directed to the next side, with all the albums in this category.

My problem is, that I wanna have a Category picture for all categories on the first site (the site with all main categories)
WITHOUT displaying the picture in the category itself.
If I add a picture to the category, then it's shown as the category picture, but it's also shown if I click on the category.

Hi, there is no such option so this needs to be customized in the code.

For such modification you need to have other database table where you will store images for category
