Large Image Width/Height

Hi,
I'm having difficulty displaying images at the size they were uploaded as to the server. I've read the docs, and also searched the forum, but can't find an answer that works. Pictures always come out smaller than original. I've tried playing with the settings for:

Large Image Width/Height
Front Detail Window Width/Height
Switch (swap) Image Settings

I've also tried changing from:
Modal Popup Box to Standard Popup Window

How can I get images to display at the size they were uploaded as?

I also have the same issue - unable to set the loaded image to the size it is. It remains at something like 650 pixels wide but the image I've uploaded is 1000 wide. And I also have looked everywhere for a solution.
So I'm also keen to see a solution posted here

Hi, did you recreate thumbnails after changing the size in parameters?

No! I didn't! I didn't realise I had to, but it appears then that any changes made in respect of the images, you need to recreate eh.
