Problems with ordering content

Hi,
Great tool but i'm struggling with one issue.
On the backend I can reorder the sequence of my uploaded photo's. After saving my changes it seems that these settings are not taken over by the front end.
What did I do wrong?
I tried to sort on date, ascending, descending etc but I cant find the right setting, Usually I want to see the last uploaded picture first but sometimes I want to add a picture later that shows up somewhere in the middle:(

Hi, for frontend you need to set the ordering in parameters component in menu link to gallery.
