Failure while creating a layout menu

Hi everybody !

This is my first post in this forum.
First of all, thank you for this great component.

My problem occurs when I try to create a Phoca list layout menu in Joomla ( 1.5.12 )
I am not the owner of the server which is located of a SFR account in France.

My creation aborts immediately and redirects me to the joomla login page.

When I created thumnails a few minutes before, I saw the following messages : "Warning: ini_set() has been disabled for security reasons" but I did not notice the php page mentioned.

I searched for some "ini_set" in the Phoca directory created on my PC before installing but there is no result.

Thanks for your help before I have seen how powerful is this component but I do need some more experience in installation.

The ini_set warning is now solved.
I have commented all the necessary lines ( concerning "memory_limit" ).
The thumbnails are now created normally.

The failure still occurs when I try to create a new layout list menu.

I do not know if they are any logs available given my website belongs to a private provider. I have no access above the "sitejoomla" root.

Hi, what you mean with:

Do you mean while creating menu link? If yes then you need to check your Joomla! framework too.

It occurs exactly when I click on the "Apply" or "Save", even "Cancel" buttons once in the "Phoca Gallery Category List Layout" alias menu window.

The link is not then created at all.

Perhaps I should try to create another kind of link in the alias menu window.

Jan,

I have just succeeded in creating a new menu alias.
On the main page, I created a menu for archives.
The creation took place normally and I have access to that new menu now.
