NEW MEMBER NEED ASSISTANCE

Hi I was just introduced to Phoca Gallery Comp. by a friend, of course it a pretty cool tool and find hard to configure the way I want...! I did several test still the same

I have selected or created a category name and under that category I put a few pictures and saved it ...! When I click the menu...! it takes me to category list...! as I have only one category I see only one category thumb nail...! That's perfectly fine...! then when I click the category list thumbnail I am being taken to the page where I could see all the pictures. as thumbnails....!

My problem is how to arrange this page as per three or four thumbnail horizontally.....! Is there a way to easily configure this...?

I am not quite sure, if I understand what you mean.
If you mean, you want only display 3 or 4 pictures in a row and not more, it`s quite easy.
You have only to set the pagination in PG configuration e.G. to 4 by default, and that´s it.
(Now it`s set to 20)

Hi much appreciated your reply, Sorry not explaining you properly, as you have simplified what i want is those thumbnails to be appeared 3 or four in a raw...!

however sorry about asking you to guide me again, that I could not find our where is " pagination in PG configuration" And in the what I found in the Phoca Gallery Control : Panel Images, Categories, Themes, Category, Rating, Image Rating, Category Comments, Image Comments, Users and Info and apart from that Parameters

I checked each and every of them and I could not find " pagination in PG configuration" however under Parameters there are several categories

Categories View Settings (List of Categories), Category View Settings (List of Images), Category View Settings (Categories above Images), Detail View Settings, Description Settings, Slideshow Settings, General Settings and so on....!

So could you pls specify step by step what should I do in order to arrange what I want...! Basically you could see clicking above link the thumb nails are overlapping the margin of the area....!

I can see on your page that you found a lot of steps by your own.

Ok, to display only 4 pictures per page you need to do following steps:
Go to PG-Configuration ( by the way, I have only insatalled german language )

go to the pagination section

change 5 to 4 (the fields are writeable)

and save your settings

Thats it!

Basically you could see clicking above link the thumb nails are overlapping the margin of the area....!

With Firefox I can´t see any margin problems. Did you solve it by your own?

Thank you so much for the reply and detailed explanation....! By the way when I select the option of viewing all or more than 3 (ex. 5, 10, 20, 100 etc.) the display of the thumb nails are overlapping the margin of the display area...!

If you are to select the view all in the same page you could see what I am trying to say...! I did the changes what you have shown me in your previous post, and my bad...still the same. What I want is, the display of the pictures should be in an order, like first row three second row three and so on so forth in the same page and may be I would prefer to have 20 pic (Thumb nails) in one page...! Sorry if I am confusing you...!
