No controlbar in vj-cleven template

Hello there,

I am new in joomla and I want to set up a new site. So I bought the vj-cleven template to have a head start. Then I installed the phoca gallery, which is by the way a beautifull extension.
But when I have added a amount of foto's and view the gallery, I do not get the comments and controlbar when I go to a detailed view of an image.

I have tried this on other templates but then there is no problem.

can anyone help me with this?
