subcategory page

I'm trying to use PhocaGallery 2.6.2. I have never used this gallery before and it has been great for my proposal. There are good explanations about the parameters on the site but I didn't understand how to do what I want.
I would like to have a category which open only the subcategory folders and when click on the folder it appears the images thumb. What I have now is subcategories opened on the same page as the images thumb. I wouldn't like another submenu.
I mean that I want a menu with 2 submenus where each one shows only the 5 subcategories not the images thumbs. When I click on the subcategories it opens all the images thumbs relative to specific subcategory. Is it possible? Is there someone with experience in PhocaGallery to help me?

Hi, if there are images in the category then they will be displayed with subcategories:

- in the same boxes:

- or above the boxes
https://www.phoca.cz/demo/categories-view-in-category

Depends on parameters

So yes, if you will create one category without images and two subcategories with images, you can display the gallery like are described it here.

Yes, I got it. I created a category without image and link the other galleries on it and work fine.
The only thing I don't like the back button inside the frame together to the images like this one https://www.phoca.cz/demo/gallery-catego ... ory/3-wine. I would like to have just a arrow on the top of frames but I couldn't modify it. Some tips?

Hi, you can disable back buttons in Category View but in Categories in Category View too, see parameters:
