sh404 sef error and now litebox error

Hi

I added sh404sef to a site last week for SEF url's and had issues with the phocagallery component until i added the sef plugin to the correct folder. at which point i was left with a fairly serious problem.

Phocagallery images were whosing up but if you click any of them the litebox showed nothing. the images never loaded.

i couldnt fix this so i turned sh404sef off

now when i go to the gallry the first image opens fine. i can click the left and right buttons with no problem also and show new images

if i click the play button i get the following error

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_DNUMBER, expecting ',' or ';' in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/templates/beautifulgardens2/html/com_phocagallery/detail/default_slideshow.php on line 10

You can see the error on the site at beautifulgardens.co.uk open any image and press play.

I would love to get sh404 sef working with it also so any feedback on this would be excellent.

Hi, I think you should contact the developer of beautifulgardens2 template as the error is in the template file which overrides Phoca Gallery files.

not sure why that would have been done that way.

is there any reason to have used alternative files?

if i just remove them will phoca gallery still work?

Hi, this is the MVC pattern, the template can override basic files to customize the output.

If you remove it, there should not be problem with working of Phoca Gallery as the default file will be loaded, but I am not developer of the template so I cannot say if there are some dependencies in the code, so try to remove it but before you should backup it so you can copy it back if you get some problems.
