Cant Create Subcategory and can't upload pictures

Hi there,

sry for my bad englisch. I'm a german dude.

I've installed Phoca Gallery 2.6.2 without any Problems. After that i've activated the User Control Panel.
I can create a Category in the User Control Panel without any problems.
But when i try to create a subcategory in the User Control Panel the site loads and return to the subcategory overview and nothing happens.

I can only see the Category in the backend but the subcategory dosent exists.

The second thing is when i uploaded a picture it didn't appears in a category.

What can i do to solve this?

My System:

PHP Version 5.2.6
Phoca Gallery 2.6
Joomla! 1.5.15 Stable
Apache/2.2.4 (Linux/SUSE)

Hi, do you get some message after the creating? Does your template include place for displaying warning and error messages? Try to create the subcategory with some standard template like rhuk_milkyway is.

ok, i solved the problem with reinstalling it now it works to create subcategories.

I've tried to Upload some pictures with the JAVA Uploader now i get a Popup with the following Errormessage:

wjhk.jupload2.policies.PictureUploadPolicy.checkUploadSuccess(): The sting "^SUCCESS$" was not found in the response body

What could i do now?

Hi, try to check if there is enough memory to make the images to thumbnails. If there is a fatal error (e.g. with memory issue) then the java upload applet will not get the required success string
