upgrade from 2.1.6 RC to 2.6.0 - no pictures to view

Post by dantien »

Hi

Thanks for this very nice component.

I recently upgraded a website from 2.1.6 .RC to 2.6.0. oploaded the zip file and clicked on the upgrade button. And it went just fine with no error.

I cant get any picture/category views. i also upgraded to the last galery menu module. But it is just empty and only shows the title of the module.

I also checked the sql database and saw that the *prefix*_phocagallery was okey. The extlink1 and extlink2 was also present, but only on the _phocagallery table. Not the other tables _phocagallery_categories.... is this right?

i did take a backup with joomlaPack before the upgrade, but would try a last effort if someone here could give me a hint if i did something wrong in the upgrade. is there anyone here who have had the same problem ?

I just had a breaketrouhg. insted of looking at the complicated solution, i started looking at a simpler solution. Went trough the phoca categories and pictuers and found out that everything was set to UnAuthorized. So i Authorized everything. about 1k pictures, and it now works. pictures whows just fine now.

But i got this error when clicking in images in admin. "Count of not authorized image(s) in the gallery: 1023". Dont know why. i will try to search the forum.
