I cannot access my "Images". When I click on "Images" I get "Error 500 - Internal server error. An internal server error has occured! Please try again later."
I have search this forum, but have found no solution.
I have been using Phoca for 2 years without this problem.
Details:
1and1 home package
Phoca 2.6.1
Phoca Gallery Plugin 2.6.0
Joomla 1.5.9 - rhuk_milkyway template
No pic's bigger than 400kb
all menus linked
small website
Have debug turned on
I can upload new pic's in front end
PHP version 4.4.9 (determined by 1and1)
website: members.chspom.com
1and1 says new version of Phoca requires too much resources for their package/server. They said I do not have too many pic's on server.
I have been trying to fix this for 2 months. Volunteered to create website for local high school pom squad. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Error 500 when accessing "Images"
Hi try to enable error reporting.
In new version (2.6.x) there were done some optimalization fixes, so it should not require more resources, it should require less resources thant previous versions.

Thanks Jan for the reply. Do you have any suggestions as to how to fix my problem?
Without pictures on my website, it's not much use to anyone.
Thanks for your help,
Bers

Hi, no
as I don't know the errror which you get on the server and which you can found in the error log or it will be displayed if error reporting will be on on server

Re: Error 500 when accessing "Images"
I have worked my around the problem. Uninstalled Phoca version 2.6.2. Installed version 2.5.8 and upgraded to 2.6.2. Now it seems to function.
But I have to make the categories again and connect tne images.
But then again it gives me the possibility to clean unvantede pictures and categories.

Re: Error 500 when accessing "Images"
Thanks for the post stigbarrett, but I have too many pictures on my Phoca to wipe them out and start all over. I am still trying to get my photo gallery working.

Hi, you should try to test your memory and GD settings on your server.
