Thumbnail creation - Permission error

Hi !

I'm using 2.6.1
When I try to create thumbnail, it says error : phoca cannot create folder, try changing permission on folder image/phocagallery.

My permission is set on 777

What can I do ?

I manually created the "thumbs" folder and it worked but I don't think that's the best solution... something was blocking

The best way is checking the permissions and above all the ownership of the files and folders on the server, so e.g. ftp layer can be enabled and used, see:
