Internal Server Error in shadowbox/lightbox

Hi all.

I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on this problem I'm having.

I'm using version 2.5.8. All went fine during install. No problems creating categories or uploading images.

If I browse to the front end, I can see the galleries, including thumbnails. I can enter the galleries, and see the thumbnails. But if I click on an image, the shadowbox/lightbox (whichever it is) pops up, just as it should. But instead of the full size image, I get an Internal Server Error.

At first I figured it to be some kind of permissions problem, but after trying several combinations of permission settings (chmod: 444, 644, 664, 666, 766, 776 and 777) I'm at a loss as to what the problem could be.

Searching on here and through Google, I thought maybe it was a problem with filesize on the server, but a quick check soon wrote off that idea, as the largest image on there is only 72kb. I've much larger images in other areas of the website.

I'm really at a loss now.

Hi, check your server if there is no problem to run Joomla! there, I get everywhere: Internal Server Error
