Thumbnailcreation very slow

Thumbnailcreations are very slow, around 6-10 seconds for each.
That is no real problem though it goes through without any errors.
Yesterday I put in a gallery with 11 sub-galleries and 700 pictures it took over 4 hours. But the webserver still could be reached without any significant delays.
Another thing is when you open The Images menu it takes a long time loading when you as I have several thousends og images.
But still thanks for a superb utility that really meets our needs

Hi, first check the settings - Go to Phoca Gallery - Info and see the recommended settings.
Second - add your images into folders, so server needs to to load all at the time. The creating folder and file structure on the server depends on the user
