What Directory to Upload Pictures?

I have a fresh install with no pictures loaded yet, and I want to make sure I'm uploading pictures to the folder that Phoca Gallery wants me to.

Do I upload to the root directory? e.g. \images\phocagallery\
Do I upload to the joomla directory? e.g. \joomla\images\phocagallery\
Or somewhere else?

hi hoss,

during installation phocagallery created the default image folder: joomla-root/images/phocagallery/.
you can create as many subdfolders as you like within this folder to keep your images organized.

the folder structure on phocagallery does not represent the album categories! that means that images from different folders can belong to one category(=album) and one folder can contain images of many categories.
