delete temporary list @ Multiple add

Maybe I'm stupid, but I searched the forum and couldn't find an answer...
When I use the Multiple Java Upload a temporary list shows up. There you can select which images to save and in which category.
However, once they're are saved in the gallery and I do a new multiple upload, the "old" images are still there. This is very annoying as I then have to select the new pictures one by one.

Am I missing something?

Hi, first you should upgrade to latest version.

The java uploader is an uploader function and after uploading all the files, the list should be removed ? Do you have latest java application on your PC?

then he can't upload the same name file

Thank you for a great gallery!

It works great for me, except for the same issue as mentioned above.

1. I go to "Images > Multiple Add"
2. I upload two images: X + Y (using the Java Uploader)
3. The two images (X and Y) show up in the list
4. I select the images (check the checkbox next to them)
5. I select a category and press Save
6. Phoca Gallery now creates thumbnails and I go back to the "Images" section
7. Now, I click "Multiple Add" again
8. The images (X and Y) from before is still in the list

The problem is that after uploading and categorising a lot (over 100) images, it becomes difficult to find new images in the list, when all the old are still there.

How do I clear this list of uploaded images?

Hi,

8. in multiple add there is a list of your images on your server like the ftp list or like the file manager list. It depends on you how your file list on your server will be displayed. Like in ftp client or file manager it only displays the files on your server. If you will not remove the file from your server it will be still displayed. If you need to order the files, just create some folder structure on your server.

Thank you for your answer.

Now, I finally understand! At the bottom of the "Multiple Add" screen -- actually as part of the upload component -- there is a "Create Folder" button.

I find the positioning of the "Create Folder" a bit counter-intuitive. I would suggest moving the button to the "Details" section on the same page, either just above the file list or maybe as part of the list just like the green button used for going to the parent folder.

Furthermore, I would suggest that the path (reletive to the upload path) is shown above the file list. When going into a folder (by clicking its title in the file list of the Multiple Add window) it is not possible to see that you are now no longer in the top-level upload folder.
