'Display image instead of folder icon' working randomly

Post by batopilas »

Parameter setting: Category View Settings: 'Display image instead of folder icon' = yes
sometimes shows picture, sometimes not
see http://www.olvebasis.be/site2/index.php/fotoboekp
and drill up and down or refresh the page and you see the issue
I suspect I got this issue since the last upgrade, but I'm not sure...
Any help? Thank you.

Hi, which version do you run. Sometimes if Phoca Gallery cannot read the image it will display the folder icon, try to check the path to images too.

E.g. here:
http://www.olvebasis.be/site2/index.php ... oto-rk-2de

no image will be displayed but some link? Try to check your URL creation too.

Hi Jan,

the emtpy map5, the example you refer is only to circumvent the issue which you fix in the newest beta version 2.6.0 (frontend category management).

But the images in the root and below suffer from the problem
http://www.olvebasis.be/site2/index.php/fotoboekp
if you go the above url and refresh the page a few times, you will see the problem.
Any other idea?

Hi, I see the problem there but no idea by which code this is caused :-( Try to disable sef, try to test the permissions and ownership of files (as if the image cannot be accessed the folder icon will be displayed)
