Watermark issue (yes I searched the forums before posting)

Hello,

I have looked at the documentation and searched the forums about this, everyone else solved their problem, but the other solutions (eg. refresh the thumbnails) did not work for me.

I am using Phoca Gallery 2.5.8 with Joomla 1.5.14.
I have uploaded watermark-large.png and watermark-medium.png in the /images/phocagallery/ folder.
I have deleted via FTP all previous thumbnails and had them recreated, but still the watermark does not show on any of my pictures, not on the thumbnails, not on the medium pictures on the website and especially not on the larger pictures which are the ones I want to protect.

I tried many times, I tried with different watermarks, nothing worked. What's wrong? Any idea?

* Upload your own watermark image (PNG format) into your category folder placed in /images/phocagallery/ folder. For each category and for each thumbnail size (large, medium) you can select a different watermark image. Name of watermark image must be 'watermark-large.png' (large thumbnails) and 'watermark-medium.png' (medium thumbnails).
* Enable Create Watermark parameter in Phoca Gallery Default Settings.
* Select the position of the watermark in your image in Phoca Gallery Default Settings.

Thanks for that, but that's exactly what I've done, it's all set up correctly according to the documentation on this website and according to the tips found on this forum.

Also, a sub-question, once the above problem will be solved, will the watermark for large pictures appear if I remove the watermark-medium.png file? Since I don't think the thumbnails need a watermark really. Will it work?

Hi, if you will remove watermark medium, only watermark for large thumbnails will be added (if it is set), try to check and test differnt settings with parameters (taking watermark from root of all categories, taking it from specific category, etc.)

If you reacreate an image you need not to delete the thumbnails of this image via ftp (clicking on recreate thumbnail will delete them)
