Can't Install???

I have installed this on two other sites without a glitch. Today I am trying to install on third site and it just won't install.

If I go to extensions/install select the .zip file from my desktop and then select upload/install it just times out every time.

FTP the .zip file into joomla/joomla/tmp and I get "Please enter a package directory"
unpacked the file and get a directory called com_phocagallery_v2 FTP that to tmp and get the same error "Please enter a package directory"

Tried installing from URL and I get an error 403 "forbidden" no such directory...

Any Ideas? I have never had a problem trying to install this before. Although my three sites are on different servers they are all with the same shared host, servers should be configured the same... I am lost!

Yeah, I seen that but because I was getting actual errors and not just a blank screen I didn't think it applied. Followed the ftp instructions and it installed with no troubles at all....

Ok. So it works now? Mean: you have installed Phoca Gallery without problems?

Yes, via the FTP install it worked fine...
