Hi
I am getting strange behaviour on my website while uploading photos as well as creating new folder.
When i create a new folder i get the error:Re: JFolder::create: Infinite loop detected
but the folder get created. The folder which get created have file permission as 043 which i am not able to modify.
Also when i manually create a folder by using online file manager the folder get created.
But when i try to upload image to this folder it is not working.
After selecting image and clicking on upload it takes me to hoster default add page.
No error is shown. It just goes to :http://ifastnet.com/notify/2.php
I am very confused and not able to understand what is the problem behind this.
It is working perfectly on my local machine.
Please help. :(

Can confirm here also the same error message when creating folders/directories... This is on a new install of PG on J 1.5.14.

The directories are still being created but the error message is somewhat annoying and I have not yet tested on the front end for end users - Anyone have a fix?

yes this is happening on a new install also with jhoomla 1.5
I have tried out following:
I copied all me directory strcture from my website server to my local machine and also copied the DB.
But on my local machine it is working fine, no issues at all.
So it make me think that phoca gallery do not have issue, the issue seems to be somewhere around the java part or folder permission on server level.
but how to make sure that the web hosting server have required java version and also that our application is able to pic up the java path correctly.
If anyone can help me out that will be great.
