Thumbnails gone form categorie view

Hi,

I updated from 2.5 to the latest version.
Now my random thumbs are gone from the main view http://www.brandweerhouten.nl/fotoboek.html

There was a fault with uploaded a new gallery . The thumb dir was permission 356 and there for the update of the thumbs was crashing.

Do someone now how to become my random thumbs back in the overview?

Hi Jan,

Thanks for the answer but i think there is something wrong.
This because i tryed al the setting but the folder icon is not coming back in random display.

In fotoboek 2009 the settings are:
Display Folder Icon True
Display Icon Random Image True
Display Image Beside Category Name True
Image Size Beside Category Name Medium
Display Categories Style Categories and image

After the upload from a map there was something going wrong because the level of the thumb map was 346 instead of 777

After this crash the thumbs of the folders are dissaperead.

Hi, if this is related to rights and ownership of files (folders) I cannot do nothig
Try to set the permissions to 755 (or 777 only for test) manually if then it will still do the problems

Hi Jan,

Before the update there was nothing wrong.
Now a thumbs direc is created by a permission if 430 ??

A couple of days ago every thing is working fine and now

Because of security the folder permissions were changed from 777 to 755. Try to create a folder in Phoca Gallery e.g. in Mutliple add and let me know which permissions you get. Which exactly of version do you use? try the 2.5.7 if not tried

Hi Jan,

Sorry for the problems but this are the steps which i have done.

1) Update to 2.5.7
2) Make a category test
3) Go to pictures
4) Multiple add
5) Create a folder test -> error
• Error JFolder::create: Infinite loop detected

Hi, check images and subcategories. Category cannot be deleted if it contains subcategory or image, first image and subcategory must be deleted to delete the whole category.
