Easily protect your gallery folders with htaccess!

After much reading and trial and error, I finally found the solution and thought I would share. This is an absolutely great piece of software, and as a thank you I will share the simple way :-] The gallery works perfect!

I have tried this a few times on my server, but maybe your configuration might be different, and it might not work... I am also using 404sef with htaccess and mod rewrite. But anyway try it out!

1. Navigate to your Phocagallery directory and create a file called .htaccess

2. Just add the following code: Options -indexes

Save and close. Try navigating to your pictures folder or direct hotlinking. Access should be blocked!
