[solved] Map view marker limit since 2.5.5

Hi, is there a limit for the markers in Categorie view on the MAP? I have around 60 Gallerys with geotag information but in the map not all markers are shown. In the Category itself under the geotagging tab the single marker is shown correctly. I am not sure but i think that has worked before i updated to the last stable 2.5.5 Version

Hi, there is no limit. Did you checked if all data were transfered during upgrading Phoca Gallery. Exists all the data in the database. Check it e.g. via phpMyAdmin, see if all 60 categories have filled the geo parameters?

yes the geotag information are there I checked it via phpmyadmin and as I wrote in the categorie itself in the tab Geotagging the map with the single marker is shown. But at the map categorie view which is initiated from menu link not all markers are shown

can I check more to give you better details to get the issue solved?

Yes, I am testing it on my server and get no such problem, every category is displayed there. Did you set some category as hidden, or does all categories have images in? Are the subcategories displayed in parameters, etc.?

Hi jan,

i tested now something and come to the following conclusion:

only 18 markers are shown on the map, and from order the first 18 from categories with geotag information, so if I disable for example 3 of this 18 displayed categories once again 18 are shown and in this case the next 3 categories with geotag information.

So for me the entrys are fine in the db but only 18 markers are displayed at a time.

i hope thats helps a bit

Hi, try one settings too (it should not be related to this problem), but maybe there is some limitation. Try to set in PARAMETERS COMPONENT to this link:

Categories View Settings (Category List)
Pagination Default Value (Categories View) try to add there e.g. 50 and save.
