Hi Jan
What I don't understand is how to create the 'dummy' link to the phoca gallery component, i.e. the one that is set to unpublished. I'm pretty sure that this is what is causing the issue, as I have not as yet set one. My gallery works fine, SEF links work etc in the actual gallery without me implementing the 'dummy' unpublished link to the phoca gallery, but when I try and use the phoca search the system returns the wroung url.
Maybe if I set the 'dummy' link up this issue will be resolved, but I just can't woork out how to do this.
The module name for the gallery I'm trying to get working is: rls-galleries
The menu link alias for the specific gallery is: early-years-1850-1866
My questions are:
1. What would be the name of the 'dummy' unpublished module/link to the phoca gallery to enable correct url formation?
2. If I get this working, I will have around 6 galleries each with about 4 or 5 menu links/categories within them, will I have to set up 'dummy' unpublished links to all of these?
cheers
Callum

Re: Search and Phoca not working properly
Hi, the link is created because you need some Itemid.
if you will create this link (e.g. to Phoca Gallery Categories), then system will get Itemid for Phoca Gallery and will know that this itemid should be translated to alias of this link.
Plugins and Modules doesn't have any itemid so if they should produce the correct link, they need to get it from menu links manager...
For SEF you need to have created menu link. If there is no link, there is no SEF link. Because SEF links are created from menu links - from their aliases. So you need at least one menu link to Phoca Gallery so it get alias and can create SEF link. If there is menu link to categories, then all modules and plugins (which don't have own Itemid and cannot create SEF links) can get it from component link and can produce the same path. If they don't do it, they will produce not correct SEF link and it can cause such problems.
