Categories Folder Icon

Hi,

I have set my Photo Gallery to display photos using "Phoca Gallery Category List Layout". How can I have the icon of the gallery to display the image from the gallery instate of the folder icon? I have set the "Display random image as folder icon" as yes, but it doesn't seems help at all. What should I do now? Thanks.

Yes, I do set it in the menu's parameter component and also in Phoca Gallery component parameters. But the image is still the not changing.

it only shows thumbs from the images inside that category (not from subcategories as far as I know).

Are you sure you turned them on in the right setting. The same setting is there under 3 headings:
- category view (thumbnails)
- category view (categories)
- categories view

To be sure: just turn them all on.

same problem here: on the categories view (phoca top level page) I only display categories with no subcategories. these categories only contain subcategories, no images.
up until the upgrade to 2.5.0 images instead of folder icons were displayed for these top-level categories. but not anymore. and I can't find an option to set this (not in global config and also not in the menu parameters), there is only an option for category-display (the small list of subcategories on top)

I am sure the the images were displayed before (verified it with googles cached view of that particular site). that means that if a category doesn't have images pg took them from a subcategory, which it apparently doesn't do after the upgrade.

maybe a bug? or done on purpose?

I have the same problem. After upgrading to version 2.5.0 there is no chance to set an image from subcategories as folder icon in a main category. Are there some ideas to fix it quick and dirty
