Update Package Please

Hi Jan,

I'm writing this post just to ask if it's possible to just release an update pakacge with updated file of the new released version. As i told you in another post I've modded the gallery to fit my website and to work without JS conficls, Also I've added ads to the window when click on a picture and stuff like that, so it will be easir for me and maybe for a lot of people to release an update pakacge with just the modified files as joomla does.

Bad messages

As I have optimized the code in 2.5.0, I have changed almost all phocagallery files, so in the upgrade script there would be all included

I hope in Joomla! 1.6 there will we better solution as there should be upgrade behaviour for extensions.

Well, that's bad news hehe,

But it's not possible to upgrade script as before? Via ftp? and in this way just upload the modified files?

Hi, you can upgrade via ftp (no problems there) but then you need to add database tables manually.

Thanks for your reply Jan, and could you tell me what files has been modified so I can upload them via FTP and about the DB I think there's no problem to upgrade it manually, just you tell me what are the modifcation please and the res will be done by me hehe.

I don't know if there is some file which was not modified but I think all were modified (except some external libraries, but most of them were upgraded too)
