I recently installed and began by adding folders in media manager. I tried to add categories but get a series of errors:
- Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/amararug/public_html/administrator/components/com_phocagallery/helpers/phocagallery.php on line 1199
- mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/amararug/public_html/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 344
- mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/amararug/public_html/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 344
Is this a corrupt install of Joomla? a version problem with Joomla? something else?
Cheers
Steve

Re: errors adding catagories
Hi, seems like the tables for Phoca Gallery were not installed, see:

Re: errors adding catagories
We love your gallery. We have installed in a couple of times successfully but I am still having problems with this install.
I installed Joomla again in a new directory to start over. I am still getting errors similar to this: supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/amararug/public_html/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 344
I tried to follow the instructions online but I don't how to check if the installation script created Phoca Gallery tables correctly. I found and extracted the install.bak file but don't know what to do with the code. Where should this code be if installed correctly?
If this is too basic for you, where could I go to find more information?

Hi,
you need to check your tables via phpmyadmin. The code from the install.bak file you need to run in phpmyadmin. If you've never done such a thing, I recommend you to install a localhost (with the help of Xampp) and try it first. http://docs.joomla.org/Beginners#Instal ... _localhost
