Transfer from coppermine to phoca

I'm planning on dumping coppermine and going with phoca. I dont like dealing with the bridge aspect. Does anyone know of the best way to migrate the users albums and pictures to phoca? I would really like to keep the old albums and pictures if possible.

Hi, the quickest way is to ftp all categories (folders) with images to server and phoca gallery will automatically create thumbnails, add images to categories and subcategories and from all folders (subfolders) categories and subcategories will be done

How do the user names get tied into the albums and pics though?
