I'm running Joomla! 1.5.10 and the latest Phoca Gallery. I have created 3 categories, which I call 'galleries', with separate folders for each. They all 3 show up in the Categories list in the Phoca management page.
However, when I go to the live site, only the first category is shown. I cannot get to the other categories. There is something I do not seem to be understanding about this.
What I want to do is have 3 image folders, each containing images from a different photographer. I want these 3 categories/galleries to show up when I go to the Phoca photo gallery page.
How do I do this?????
------------------------------------------------------
OK.. So it looks like I need the Phoca Gallery Menu Module. I downloaded and installed this. Now I get horrific errors when I hit the gallery page. Now, when I try and link to the category list page, I get:
Warning: require_once(/home/content/e/r/n/erneststokely/html/administrator/components/com_phocagallery/libraries/loader.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/e/r/n/erneststokely/html/modules/mod_phocagallery_menu/mod_phocagallery_menu.php on line 18

Re: Categories don't show up
Hi,
you should be able to do this without the module.
Did you create the menu item of type 'phoca gallery list layout'?
Regards, Carolien

Re: Categories don't show up
Yes, late in the evening I was checking through and found that I needed to change the menu link type. That gave me the gallery presentation I was looking for.
That raises the question. If that feature is built into the basic Phoca gallery, what is the Gallery Menu module? What does it do that the basic Phoca Gallery does not? And, why did I get the errors I reported when I publish this module?? (I plan to uninstall the module ... apparently don't need it.)

Re: [Solved] Categories don't show up
Hi, links should be created in Menu link. Phoca Gallery Menu Module is some plus module, so the menu links of categories is displayed in other form. The problem with loading library is, you have installed Phoca Gallery Menu Module 2.5.0 Alfa which is designed for Phoca Gallery component 2.5.0 Alfa not for 2.2.4 so you must downgrade the menu module.
