display categories random image

Hi!
Can't find if this is possible or not, have googled and searched the forum but can't find the answer.
I have images of different sizes in the categories, for example 300x450px and 450x300px, so when i display categories, some thumbnails are 75x100px and some 100x75px. I don't want to crop the 100px height automatically, because it crops in the middle of the image. Is there an option to turn off the random images for categories so for example only the thumbnail of the last uploaded image of a category would be displayed?

Hi, for disabling cropping images see parameters:

For not displaying random image, you can display folder icon or you can set displaying of firt image in category, see:

I just implemented this in version 2.2.4 and the line numbers given in FAQ #6 should be changed to 221 in categories and 551 in category. Works like a charm!
