Can't adding no more categories in Phoca Gallery

Hello,

I have a big problem with my Phoca Gallery and hope you can help me.
I use a Joomla! system since 2006 and my webserver has the following features:

Joomla! 1.5.11
Phoca Gallery 2.2.4
PHP 4.3.10-22 with GD Support=enabled
MySQL 4.1.11

The system runs with no problems before yesterday. I added a category and pictures at March 2009, there were no problems.
Yesterday, I wanted to add a new category, but there was an error message:
""Fehler beim speichern der Phoca Gallery Kategorie(n)" (german translation installed)

"Error while saving the Phoca Gallery categories" (english)

I have researched here at the page, but there is only described the error at a new installation of the gallery because of no entries in the MySQL database. So at my installation there are all 6 entries with all fields in the database, and the old categories before yesterday are also present at the page. I have no idea where the error is. For testing, I changed the collation of the database from "utf8_bin" to "latin1_general_ci", but the problem stayed, so I switched it back to "utf8_bin". I think it is a problem especially from Phoca Gallery, because I can writing articles in my Joomla! installtion like before. Have anyone here an idea where the error could be? Thanks a lot for the support!

could you check in the database table TablePrefix_phocagallery_categories, whether or not the 'date' field exists?

hi,

i've the same problem. just took a look to field "date" in [pf]__phocagallery_categories but it does'nt exist. what i have to do? should i create it?
