Direct image download

Hello,
is it be possible to create direct link to the image instead of the download window?

User clicks the green arrow and instead of the download screen would be the image itself (= direct link to the image) with some inteligent alt?

Hi, you can set e.g. "external link" so this will be used for linking to original image, but this needs to be added for every image

in other case you need to customize the code, e.g. by adding direct link with target="_blank" attribute

Yes, I was thinking about the second scenario. Thank you for your response btw.

How difficult programming is it? I was thinking about hiring some PHP developer to do it or is it easy to do it?
(I'm not a PHP developer but I do some programming in C# and Java)
