use of Phoca Gallery

Hello,

I have one particular an very important question. I'm building web pages and not so long ago I started using Joomla to do so. I saw your gallery and I want to use it in the sites for my clients, not like my own product ... just use it ... I'm willing to pay for it if neccessary. Are there any restrictions about the websites I want to use it in? Can I modify it?

Hi,

Phoca Gallery is GPL-licenced. Here is the link to the licence: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html

This means that you can use it on multiple domains and that you can modify it. If you want to redistribute your modification you must do it under the same licence.

Phoca Gallery uses highslide and shadowbox (besides displaying via the modal box), I am not sure if you can use that on every website (commercial / non-commercial). When you have installed Phoca Gallery and you go to the main page, then there is some explanation about that.

You be sure I will make donation . And yes it's one wonderful component. Yes it has its minuses , but I do my custumizations so it does really good job. I haven't seen your all components yet but if they are so good as this one, I will donate for them too.

Well I wrote him a few weeks ago, still no answer, no gallery? May be he didn't recieved my e-mail or forgot about it? I wrote him again, today. I hope he will answer this time. Not that I can't remove the link myself, but I believe the right way is me not doing that .

I've just received it from him. May be he just fotgot last time. Anyway, I have it now, thanks for the link free gallery. And if you make some day a nice catalog component, I'll be happy to donate for it .
