sh404sef problem with link

I followed the instructions in this post (viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2088) but I am having trouble with the URL, for example, my url shows up like this-

http://foo.com/photo-essays/photo-essay ... 1&detail=0

So it's looking pretty now, but for some reason "photo-essays/" is being inserted twice. Why is that happening and how do I prevent it?

The gallery name alias is "remarkable-trees" and the menu alias is "photo-essays". I'm not sure if it's repeating the menu alias twice or if I have something else in there with a duplicate alias or what?

Hi, maybe this is a question of SEF extensions developer. As I use Core SEF, I don't have any idea about this
