Need Some Help

I just installed Phoca and when I went to create a catagory and select the "New" button it takes me to my main Joomla admin panel. Also when I went to install some images through the Phoca control panel and select new or multiple adds it also took me to the main Joomla admin panel. Does anyone have an idea why it is doing this?...I also uploaded my images using FTP but when i went to view them under "images" in the Phoca control panel it did not show anything there.

not to be rude but that article is the most confusing bunch ofmumbo jumbo i have read all day. I am sure other folks have had this same issue and there has to be a more simple way of explaining a solution..
