Hi everyone, I hope you can help me. I have installed everything and uploaded images and installed the plugin for the slideshow but I cannot seem to get any images to show in my articles. When I put the code in the article and save the page I can only see the written code in the live article. What am I doing wrong?

The code I am using is pgslideshow id=1|width=400|height=300|delay=3000|image=O

Any help would be great.

When you copy the code from this website, please don't copy the { and }, because these are images. When you add the code to your own article you have to type the { and } yourself. (If it would be typed here, you wouldn't see the code, but the images). Don't use line breaks for the code. The code should be added without any line breaks into the editor.

Thanks Quarterhorse, I have done as you suggested, but still getting the same code displayed on the page.

As I am new can I just clarify a few things?

Am I supposed to put the code in the article as is, or should I be entering it under the html editor screen?
Also I have so far set one category up to test the plugin and the id is 1 so should my code read:

imageid=0|limitstart=0|limitcount=2|
fontcolor=#B88A00|bgcolor=#FFBF00|bgcolorhover=#BFFF00|imagebgcolor=#FFD24D|

Thanks for your advice, i really appreciate it. Not sure where i am going wrong, I entered the code:

{phocagallery view=categories|categoryid=1}

I now only see the code on the page, but the code is green. Maybe I should remove the module and plugin and try again?

Ok, have uninstalled everything and reinstalled. Now on the page it appears to be working ok, but the images in the slideshow are very small, I have changed the dimensions in the code to be the same size as the images i uploaded but the n when I save the article and preview it in the browser i have a small icon and no slideshow.

I am having the same problem. I installed the plugin, created a new article, entered the following:

pgslideshow id=1|width=100|height=100|delay=3000|image=M

I typed in the { and } as per the linked article mentioned above and nothing. I then entered the following instead of the line above:

imageid=0|limitstart=0|limitcount=2|
fontcolor=#B88A00|bgcolor=#FFBF00|bgcolorhover=#BFFF00|imagebgcolor=#FFD24D|
bordercolor=#B88A00|bordercolorhover=#86B300|
detail=1|displayname=1|displaydetail=1|displaydownload=1|float=right

Again, I typed in the { and } but all I get in the article is the text entered above in both sets. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still have the same issue.

I did have in published, but decided to unpublish and then publish again.

Now for the:

I do not see anything in the article. but for the:
